"I first experienced strong leadership from my dad. Of course the caring and nurturing kind that I get from being his kid. But I also shadowed him a lot since I was a kid seeing first hand at how his brand of leadership not only inspired and motivated those around him, but our community in Fresno at large. I have always wanted to grow to be just as  good of a man and leader he is. With a little too much confidence and a drive behind it I have tended to put myself in positions to bring people together to get something done. This year I want to help my group meet our goals through confidence and knowledge in the problem we are trying to face. "

"Engineering has always been able to pull the best out of me. Taking this Chief Marketing  Executive Role lends me the opportunity to allow me to expand my knowledge on marketing skills and strategies. Connecting the audience with a brand and product will be a great marketing skill to obtain and use for this group project. This can also upgrade my socializing skills  that could put me into greater positions for future opportunities. This opportunity to better my skill set in both marketing and socializing will not only allow me to achieve personal achievements I aimed high for, but I can pay it back to my community.

"Engineering has always held a special place in my mind. In adolescence, I've always had a knack for organization. When working with peers, many have looked at me for guidance when operating in a project. I am always able to add something new and innovative when working. As an engineering inspired high-school student, I strive for greatness, whether it is on the football field during the day or on the computer at night. When I am on that computer, I strive to hone my skills in applications such as solid-works, excel, and other applications that will take me so much farther technologically. With my critical thinking and initiative to adapt and overcome technological issues, I yearn for a better society in which everyone can benefit from technological advancements."

"I have always been drawn to a leadership position. Controlling and managing finances has been something I have learned is very important, not just on a personal level but on a business level as well. Being in this role will lend the opportunity for me to expand my knowledge of the financial side of business and how to make money. I want to be able to learn about how to raise money for a business and make a profit.  For our project to be successful we need to be able to purchase the necessary tools and materials which requires finances."
