To the left, are four concept sketches for the overall structure of the merry go round. The first concept sketch incorporates general ideas from generic merry go rounds, and there are dimensions listed. Since this was the first sketch, the dimensions were a mere guess of what this should look like. However, you can get a general idea of the space we wanted for the students. The second concept sketch goes for a more comforting design, including a canopy over the merry go round for shade. Like the other concept sketched, it had a divot for the students to roll into, and this particular sketch included retractable seat belts. Onto concept sketch three, I tried putting myself into the student's shoes and seeing their interests. So, the theme for the third sketch was roller coaster based. It also included the divot for the students. After I conversed with my peers, i continued to the fourth sketch. The fourth concept sketch was made simplistic, due to our limitations. It still included the key factors we wished to include though. We chose the fourth concept sketch as our final overall structure design. - Isaiah Chavez, CTO
